Many people are working hard to help mitigate the impacts of the low flows until the weir can be replaced. Here are some examples:
Aug 18-19 2019: We asked people at Lake Cowichan’s 75th Anniversary to tell us whether and why they support replacing the weir. Here is what some of them said (click arrows for slideshow). Notably, while we met lots of people who wanted more information, or better information, we didn’t meet anyone who didn’t think the weir should be replaced. Apparently, Weir Ready!
